We have seen how much of the NHS carbon footprint is taken up from pharmaceuticals. We have got into the habit of drawing up emergency drugs "just in case". We are currently looking at the financial and environmental impacts of this action, and will look to see whether prefilled syringes are the answer at BHRUT.
