The PRM Bio-Processor - The PRM Bio-Processor is an on-site organic waste digestor. It offers an easy and environmentally friendly way to recycle unavoidable hospital food waste and plant-based packaging. The Bio-Processor breaks waste down into a soil enricher aerobically, using oxygen and microbes (friendly bacteria). It reduces waste volume by 80%, and can therefore significantly reduce your waste management costs. It is easy to use, simply add your waste and close the lid.
The PRM Smart Weigh System - The PRM Smart Weigh System is an easy to use solution for weighing ,reporting on and reducing food waste in hospitals. It provides automated and customisable data reports on waste generation, to help you to understand waste levels, where waste is generated and to ultimately improve waste management strategies across the hospital and within each department.
Compactors and Bailer – We supply a wide range of compactors and baler to reduce the volume of dry and wet waste for recycling and general waste disposal. Compaction reduces waste disposal costs, saving the number of bin lifts and the environmental impact associated with transporting waste, as well as increasing the potential for recycling more waste.

Preventx Wins Prestigious Environmental Sustainability Project of the Year Award at the HSJ Partnership Awards: In partnership with Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Preventx were awarded for their efforts in redesigning online postal self-sampling kits, a project that has successfully reduced single-use plastic by more than 80%, preventing 4.7 tonnes of plastic waste annually in London, and 10 tonnes across the UK.
Preventx will reach carbon-neutral status for the period June 2025 – June 2026, partnering with Carbon Neutral Britain. Together, they are building a robust portfolio of high-quality offset and carbon-capture projects that fully balance their present emissions. This commitment is a milestone in Preventx's wider sustainability strategy: while offsets will neutralise its footprint, the company will continue to drive emissions down at source through internal efficiency projects and close collaboration with suppliers and service partners.
